Q. Why doesn’t the Glendale Homes website have prices listed on it?
A. Because our homes can go almost anywhere and there is a freight component to the price, once we know the location where your house will be delivered, we can give you an indication of the price. Please Contact Us for a completely obligation-free quote.
Q. Can we use our own plan?
A. Yes, you can. Our homes can be fully customised and our team can help you design the best house for your site and requirements, within the transportable parameters.
Q. Who deals with Council?
A. We can apply on your behalf.
Q. What is included in the price?
A. The price includes construction of your home, complete internal fit-out, transportation and installation, giving you many benefits over traditional building methods.
Q. Are water and power connected?
A. All Glendale Homes are installed ready for connection to power and water by your Plumber and Electrician.
Q. Can you receive bank finance for a Glendale Home?
A. Yes. Many of our clients use bank finance and we are flexible in terms of payments to accommodate your bank’s requirements.
Q. How far do you travel with homes, i.e. where can you install them?
A. We deliver and install houses all over Queensland, New South Wales, the Northern Territory and Western Australia.
Q. Do you have a display home?
A. Yes. Please feel free to visit our factory where you can view our display home as well as a number of houses under construction. Visits are available between 8.30am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, or by appointment outside these hours.
Q. Are you able to build on sloping blocks?
A. Yes. In fact, it is easier to build on a sloped block using our building methods when compared with most other builders. Click here to see an example.
Q. Is a crane required for construction of a Glendale Home?
A. Generally no, however it’s contingent on the slope of the block and ease of access to it, so in some instances it might be necessary.
Q. Do Glendale Homes visit sites?
A. Where possible and when necessary. We have many years’ experience working with our clients to understand the nature of sites in remote locations.
Q. What type of frame do you use?
A. Steel or timber frames.

A. No. Our homes have elevated floors and are installed on steel stumps.
